Paul and Jo Dengate (Glashin) play folk music from Ireland and England - expect some jigs, polkas and sing-along songs, flighty flute and driving guitar or atmospheric melodies with subtle guitar work. For nearly ten years, Glashin have been playing a variety of venues, from festivals and concerts to restaurants and pubs.

We can provide background music, for example we have played for up to four hours at open garden events for the local hospice. Alternatively, we can play more focused sets suited to concerts, clubs or pubs. Paul's guitar playing can provide a subtle or strong rhythmic backing according to the need.

As Glashin, we have played for: music festivals, clubs, pubs, fetes, wedding ceremonies and receptions, restaurants and parties. In addition, with other musicians/bands, we have played for: barn dances, traditional music sessions both Irish and English, morris dancing.
